Devastated and Finishing Strong!

Devastated and Finishing Strong

Are you currently struggling?

Maybe you’re a new mom juggling sleepless nights and breastfeeding challenges. You’re exhausted, overwhelmed, and feeling like your hormones are staging a rebellion.

Or perhaps you’re trying to balance a demanding job with home responsibilities, only to find yourself completely depleted—bone dry, as we say in the South.

Maybe it’s your finances. You’re drowning in debt, barely making ends meet, and the weight of high inflation feels like a constant pressure.

Can I be completely honest with you?
I’ve been struggling too.

When Life Is Life-ing

In less than a year, I gained 30 pounds. After celebrating a hard-earned 20-pound weight loss, life started "life-ing," I found myself slipping back into old habits. Long days turned into long nights, and stress eating reappeared.

Looking in the mirror was hard. I felt defeated. I felt devastated.

Have you been there too? That place where your struggles seem louder than your victories?

But Then I Heard God Speak

One day, while pouring out my heart in prayer, I heard the Lord whisper these words:
"I accept you. I love you. I have called you forth.”

I felt seen—not for my mistakes or failures, but for who I truly am.

Then, He said something that changed everything:
"In order for you to finish strong, you have to know that I see you.”

And that was it. The reminder I didn’t even know I needed.

God sees me.
And He sees you, too.

God Sees You, Sis

He sees every struggle, every tear, every ache, and every sleepless night. He knows the burdens you’re carrying—the ones that feel too heavy to talk about. And He’s calling you to lay them at His feet.

Let this truth sink in:
The Great I Am, the God of the universe, sees you.

  • He sees your pain.

  • He sees your efforts.

  • And He’s with you.

How to Finish Strong

No matter where you are right now—whether you’re devastated, overwhelmed, or plain tired—these three truths remain:

  1. God sees you.

  2. He loves you.

  3. You are not alone.

Your Father is cheering you on! You can finish strong because He’s walking with you every step of the way.

The Finish Strong Series

This December, my YouTube channel, Celebrating All Things You, will be exploring the story of Hagar.

Hagar was an Egyptian slave who met God at her lowest moment. She felt unseen, unimportant, and cast aside. But in her wilderness moment, she had an encounter with God that changed everything.

Through Hagar’s story, you’ll discover how God can meet you in your struggles and give you the strength to finish strong.

God’s Got You

So, no matter how defeated or drained you feel, know this:
God’s got you, sis.

Lay your burdens down.
Step into His presence.
Allow Him to refresh your soul and remind you who you are: His beloved daughter.

We’re not just surviving this season—we’re finishing strong.
